Registration

Registration fees include:

  • Annual membership fee for the South African Wetland Society
  • Entrance to all sessions
  • Printed handbook and conference folder
  • Daily lunch and refreshments
  • Welcome Meet and Greet, one standard dinner and Indaba Gala Dinner / Awards ceremony, except for day delegates, who have to book and pay online for these events.

Venue and accommodation

The Mittah Seperepere Convention Centre in Kimberley.

Bed and breakfast accommodation has been pre-booked for conference delegates from 7 – 11 October 2018 (minimum of two nights’ stay) at the Protea-Marriott Hotel in the Big Hole Precinct, Kimberley, within a short walking distance of the venue. Please see tariffs below. As a matter of courtesy to the hotel all accommodation not taken up by 15 September 2018 will be released, but delegates will still be able to book accommodation online.

Student accommodation: details of affordable student accommodation will be available on the registration form.

CPD points

Certificates of attendance will be issued after the conference and delegates can apply to SACNASP for CPD points.

Post-conference activities

These events will be scheduled based on interest expressed by delegates. Please note that for practical reasons participation in these activities, will be limited. Booking will be done on the basis of first come, first served, and will be confirmed. Delegates will be able to download details on the registration page.

Sponsorship opportunities

The organisers welcome sponsorship participation. A range of sponsorship options have been identified to provide high value opportunities for branding during the conference, and there are sponsorship options to suit every budget.  All sponsors are invited to submit a promotional paragraph for the printed Handbook together with their logo. Delegates will be able to book online for the shuttle service between Kimberley airport and the hotel/venue. For delegates who do not make use of the shuttle service to the hotel/venue, all major car hire companies are represented in Kimberley.
